Joe’s Obituary Joe G. Dickey, 77, of Tiptonville, died Thursday, March 21, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare – Dyersburg Hospital. Born June 8, 1941, he was the son of the late Reuben and Estelle Hamilton Dickey. He was a retired school teacher and a former U.S. Forest Service Crew Boss.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2019 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Troy. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24th at the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home. He is survived by his son, Jon Dickey (Lisa) of Ridgely; two grandchildren, Christina Davin Freeman, Anna Davin; one great-granddaughter, Addison Claire Freeman; one sister, Martha Newsom of Memphis and one brother William R. Dickey of Tiptonville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Allen. The family requests memorials be directed to U.S. Forest Service. www.
