JOE’s Obituary JOE LOUIS JOHNSON, age 80, of Belvidere, Tenn. , fell asleep, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Johnson was born in Winchester, Tenn.

, to the late Tommy Johnson and Lovial Hannah Jane Brown Johnson on January 28, 1938. He is a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Winchester. Mr. Johnson was employed for several years at the former E.&B.

Carpet Mill. He left the carpet mill for employment with Bridgestone Tires in Morrison, Tenn. where he retired from.

Mr. Johnson enjoyed working in his yard and was known for keeping an immaculate yard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings; Alvin Johnson, James Johnson Leon Johnson, Jerry Johnson, May Wilkerson, Cleo Johnson and Doris Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Azylean Johnson of Belvidere, daughters; Christy (Greg) Hoffman of Huntland, Tenn.

, Lawanda (Marty) Sherman of Huntsville, Ala. , Jolene (Tommy) Vaughter of Huntland, grandchildren; Kiara (Nathan) Estrada of Athens, Ala. , Tori Johnson-Ferraris of Arizona, Kendra French of Huntsville, Ala.

, great-grandchildren; Levi and Londyn Williams. Sisters; Louise (Hosea) Taylor, Irene Taylor and Gloria Hendon all of Winchester, and Carolyn (James) Deberry of Jackson, Tenn. , and one foster son, Wayne Crisp of Tullahoma, Tenn.

Services for Mr. Johnson will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 19, 2019, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, with Bro. Penny Perry, officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 3:00.
