Joe Wright Jones, 78, passed away September 18, 2018 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree. He was born January 7, 1940 to the late Frank and Cassie Wright Jones of Beech Grove. Joe was valedictorian of his 8th grade class.

That same day a tragic tractor accident changed the course of his life. He continued to expand his mind. He was a prolific reader, master mathematician and a Christian.

Joe is also survived by 4 aunts Nina Jo Qualls of Slaughters, Eloise Jones of Vincennes, Indiana, Eva Murl Hancock of Sebree, Zella McCaslin of Calhoun and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday September 28, 2018 at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, Kentucky.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Onton United Methodist Church. Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
