JOEL EDWARD MILLER, age 26 of Clanton, passed away on February 27, 2019 at UAB Palliative Care after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born in Dallas County on November 27, 1992; the son of Joel Clarence Miller and Anita Edwards Miller. He was a former coal miner.

Joel loved hanging out with his family and friends. He loved riding dirt roads going mudding. He loved having a good time with the people he loved most.

He is survived by: Son, Tyler Miller of Verbena; Daughter, Raelyn Miller of Clanton; Father, Joel Miller of Clanton; Mother, Anita Miller of Clanton; Brother, Jeremy (Brandy) Miller of Maplesville; PawPaw, Leroy Foshee of Clanton; G-Momma, Helen Foshee of Clanton; and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: Grandfather, Bobby Edwards; Grandmother, Faye Edwards; Grandfather, Rufus Miller; and Grandmother, Pam Miller. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Keith Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the University Highway Church of God Cemetery in Maplesville, AL.
