Obituary for John B. Szydlowski John B. Szydlowski, 90, of Southington, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was the husband of the late Virginia (Flower) Szydlowski. He was born Nov.

15, 1927 in Bristol the son of the late John P. and Katherine (Zetarski) Szudlowski. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. John had been employed by Bristol Brass as a metallurgical lab technician, later retiring from the State of Connecticut as a State Marshall.

He is survived by 2 daughters Sandra Grucza and husband John and Janice Pepe and husband Michael of Southington, 4 grandchildren, Taylor and Connor Grucza, Chelsea DiDonato and husband Bryan and Lexi Pepe, a sister Lillian Poole of FL and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Edmond and Chester Szydlowski, 4 sisters Jesse Kosienski Eleanor Smith, Jean Taschner and Stella Wesolowski. The funeral services and burial were held at the convenience of the family.
