John’s Obituary John M. Coughenour, 87, of Sellersville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to the late Janet M. (Blair) Coughenour who died in 2009. Born in Doylestown, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Millar) Coughenour.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1956. He was employed as a pigment mixer at Penn Color in Lansdale, and previously worked as a mechanic at the former DeLoux Sweater Factory in Sellersville. Mr. Coughenour enjoyed his work and his family, taking his Mustang to various car shows, going to the A & N Diner in Sellersville, shooting pool, watching MASH on tv, and going to Generations in Souderton.

He is survived by his son, John K. Coughenour and his wife Christine of Phoenixville, his daughter Shelly Miklos and her husband Joseph of Sellersville, five grandchildren: Ciara, Cole, Tara, Dylan, and Anthony, two sisters: Shirley Steenstra of Virginia, Linda Kratz and her husband Laverne of Souderton, and a brother, William “Butch” Coughenour and his wife Carol of Lansdale. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Todd B. Coughenour. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford.

Friends may call from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
