Maria’s Obituary Maria Patkos, Age 82, of Harleysville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2019. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born July 11, 1936 in Budapest, Hungary.

She and her twin brother were the youngest of 7 children. She emigrated to the United States in 1957 after the Hungarian Revolution. She settled in Philadelphia, where she soon met her future husband, Leslie (Laszlo) Patkos Sr

She was a hard worker and balanced her time between work and raising her three children. She enjoyed gardening, yard sales and reading her Bible. She especially liked listening to old Hungarian Gypsy music.

She is survived by her children Les Patkos Jr. and his wife Lee, Peter Patkos and his wife Anne Marie, Christina Hoffman and her husband Erick; grandchildren Mallory, Aaron, Lindsey, Allegra, Amy, Emily, Julia, Ryan: great grandchildren Selah, Judah, Juniper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family in Hungary. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp.

) where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place in Zion Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.
