Obituary for John “David” Shelton John “David” Shelton, 66, passed away November 20th, 2018 in Yukon, Oklahoma. Mr. Shelton was born on June, 10th, 1952 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Elmea and Edith Shelton. David moved to the Oklahoma City area when he was 16 to live with his brother Kenny and sister-in-law, JoAnn Shelton.

He worked at a service station for 2-3 years and then was hired in as a tire builder at Firestone Dayton Tire. David enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and numerous family members. He loved hunting and going to the lake.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Elmea and Edith Shelton; grandparents; and five brothers. He is survived by his wife, Betty Shelton; Son, Jeff Shelton; Daughter, Stacy Pales; Two stepsons, Robert and Nathan Sloan; Stepdaughter, Amber Scott; Two Sisters, Karen Burton and Debbie Sanders; Three Brothers, Rick, Keith, and Ron Shelton; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His funeral service will be held Saturday, November 24th, 3:00pm at Christ’s Church of Yukon in Yukon, Oklahoma.
