Obituary for John E. Hester John E. Hester, 87, of Anderson, passed away on May 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas and resided most of his life in Anderson. He was the Owner and Operator of Hester’s Auto Service.

John enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. John is survived by his children, Arthur “Michael” (Robin) Hester, Joey (Sandra) Hester, Holly (Brian Lifford) Hester; siblings, Paul (Wanda) Hester, Francis McCain; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna L. Hester; mother, Lillie Bell Hester; father, Arthur D. Hester; son, Eddie Hester; grandson, Brandon Hester; several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 18, 2018, at the funeral home, with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating.

Burial will take place in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 50 E. 91st Street Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46240. www.
