Nagelschmidt, 82, of Cortland formerly of Tully, passed away Sunday Oct. 28 at Cortland Park. He was a self employed accountant and was a former active member of the JC’s in Cooperstown.

He was a former member and ambulance driver for Tully Volunteer Fire Dept. For Many years he enjoyed playing “Father Christmas” throughout the Cortland community. He was the father of the late Kristen McMahon.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Gretchen (Kevin) Gretsky; son, Paul Nagelschmidt; four grandchildren, Gavin, Zachary, Caleb & Emma; sister, Barbara Sheldon; brother, Stephen Nagelschmidt. Friends may call Friday Nov 2 from 10 to 11 AM with a service to follow at 11 AM at Hartwell Funeral Home, 261 Route 281, Tully, NY. Interment Tully Cemetery.

Contributions may be to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
