John Margin Yarborough, age 88, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Wake County, NC on August 19, 1930 to the late Archie M. Yarborough and Rowena Elizabeth Watson Yarborough. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Yarborough Wicker; son Mike Yarborough; brothers Prentice, James, Archie, C.V. Yarborough; and sisters Madge Johnson, Erma Thomas, and Gertrude Pleasants.

Mr. Yarborough worked 21 years for Borden Brick and Tile before co-owning and operating Yarborough Brothers Welding and Machine Shop. He was a faithful member of Grace Chapel Church where he sang in the church choir and was a member of a quartet for many years. He was a member of the Annie Belle Register Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Maxine Coggins Yarborough; son Mitch Yarborough and wife Lorrie; daughter Lisa Black all of Sanford; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, March 15, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Chapel Church and at other times at the family home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 16th at 2:00 PM at Grace Chapel Church cemetery with Rev.

Joel Murr, Rev. David Yarborough and Rev. Bob Yandle officiating.
