John Melvin Scarborough 79 of Phenix City, Alabama died Friday March 15, 2019 at Regional Rehab. Funeral Services will be held Monday March 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with entombment at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home.

Mr. Scarborough was born January 27, 1940 in Madison County, Georgia to the late John Robert and Maude Hyde Scarborough. Mr. Scarborough retired as a mechanic. Mr. Scarborough was preceded in death by his parents and twelve brothers and sisters.

Mr. Scarborough is survived by his Wife Judy Scarborough of Phenix City, Alabama. One Son Vance (Donna) Scarborough of Phenix City, Alabama. Two Daughters Renee (David) Underwood of Salem, Alabama and Teresa Petway of Phenix City, Alabama.

Six Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren.
