JOHN O. MAHONEY July 28, 1941 – December 22, 2018 He dearly loved his family and wife. He would drive 12 to 15 hours on many occasions to see his two children and grandchildren, making it a point to take them all out individually to have a “special time “with Papa”, whether it was taking them to car races, baseball games, to a local park, or just out to breakfast. John is survived by his loving wife at 57 years, Barbara Gail Mahoney, his two daughters, Lisa Brennan (husband Mark) and Debra Fouch (husband Jon) both of Palmyra, Virginia; granddaughters, Shannon (Brennan) Garcia, Christine Klein, Megan Fouch, Jessica Brennan, Amy Brennan, Elizabeth Brennan; grandsons, Michael Brennan, Eric Fouch, Daniel Fouch, Stephen Brennan, and Joshua Brennan; eight grandchildren; brother, Billy Stearns and sisters, Juanita Henderson and Sylvia Baxter (husband Pete).

Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM on January 12, 2019 at Sebastian River Baptist Church, 1117 US Highway #1, Sebastian, FL with a service to Celebrate John’s life beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. William “Bill” Ruehman, Jr., officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe we need to DAV: Disabled American Veterans www.
