John P. Campbell 47 of Biddeford, died unexpectedly of on Wednesday May 9, 2018, of natural causes. Born March 13, 1971 in Lawrence MA. John spent his younger years living in MA before moving to Maine later in life, where most of his family lived.

If you met John, you were instantly drawn to him. He was a big, loud, gentle giant. If you were one of his children, you were loved more than life itself.

If you where his friend, there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for you. If John loved, you that was it he loved you for life. John’s passion for darts, horseshoes, his sport teams, and the Veterans of this country was unmeasurable.

He always made sure he hugged you and put a smile back on your face before you left his presence. I promise you John gave the biggest and best hugs you could ever receive by anyone. John loved all but most importantly he was loved by all.

The organizations John belonged too are experiencing the greatest loss ever. S.R.D.L, S.M.S.D. A, and the Amvets Post 1.

He had a huge personality but and even bigger heart. John is survived by: His Fiancée Trishia, to whom he looked forward to marrying this July, Sons – John Campbell Jr and Jeremy Campbell of Salem NH, Thomas and TJ of Maine, Daughters – Courtney, Rychael and Brooke all of Maine Father: Clarence Mother: Eleanor Brother: James Sisters: Tracey, Liz and Barbara all of Maine Grandchildren: Hunter and Landon The mother of his sons: Dawn Dube of Salem, NH Longtime special friends Cory, Vic and Faedra He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many many great friends, that will miss him dearly. John was predeceased by his grandmother Dorothy, his sister Tori, his Uncle Kenny and his cousin Brian.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Johns name to the go-fund me page to help the family with funeral costs. Visiting Hours will 10:00 -12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A celebration of life will start at 12:00 p.m. at the AMVETS Post 1.
