Obituary for John W. “Jack” Taylor John W. “Jack” Taylor, Jr. 64 of Connellsville died Thursday December 20, 2018 at his home. He was born October 3, 1954 in Uniontown a son of John W., Sr. and Mary Lee Mason Taylor. Jack was a 1972 graduate of Connellsville Area High School.

He was employed as a truck driver for most of his life, having retired from Faris Distributing. He was a member of Teamsters Local #491 and a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Mills Taylor; his sons, Brian Taylor of Pittsburgh, Joshua Taylor of Connellsville and Benjamin Taylor of Ohiopyle; his siblings, Judith Grove and her husband Robert of Connellsville, Susan Potkul and her husband Ronald of Florida, Robert Taylor and his wife Cindy of Conellsville, Cynthia Friend and her husband David of Greensburg, William Taylor and his wife Tammy of Greensburg, Lori Lambie and her husband David of Dunbar and Meredith “Meri” Rose and her husband Joseph of Connellsville and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Sunday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church with Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
