Obituary for John Wesley Young John W. Young was born March 16, 1934, in Hope, Arkansas to John Foster and Vernona Verlee Barnes Young, the oldest of four children. John was a 50 year member of the Deer Creek Masonic Lodge 510, and the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a retired Attorney at Law, and a retired member of the Texas Bar Association.

John was in the Order of the White Shrine. For the last nine years, John lived at the Texas Masonic Retirement Center in Arlington. John was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Mary Frances Young Walch.

He is survived by his sisters, Carol A. Young and husband, Gerald Kellogg, Betty Brock and husband, Don; nephews, Don Brock, Jr. and Brien McDonald and wife, Erinn; niece, Erica McDonald; three great-nieces and six great-nephews.
