John William Price, age 65 of the Crusoe Island community of Whiteville passed at his residence on Monday. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Myrtle Head Cemetery in Ash with Reverend Dewayne Griffin officiating. He was the son of the late Myrtle Idell Etheridge Price and John Wesley Price.

He was employed by International Paper for over 29 years until his retirement in 2003. He is survived by his wife, Debra Louise Cumbee Price of the home; a son, Rocky L. Price and his wife, Tiffany of Whiteville, Daniel Price of Whiteville, Randy Price and his wife, Judy of Whiteville, Essie P. Fowler and her husband, Donnie of Ash, Ronnie Price and his wife, Della and Bobby Price both of Whiteville; two grandchildren, McKenzie Price and Bailey Price of Whiteville.
