Obituary of John Ashcroft JOHN F. ASHCROFT Loudonville- John F. Ashcroft, 76 of Loudonville passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018 in Port Charlotte, Florida. Born in Troy on November 28, 1941, he was the son of the late John F. and the late Ruth (Folsum) Ashcroft. John was married to Barbara on March 3, 2000 and shared a union of 18 years prior to his passing.

John was the owner and operator of JFA Electronics in Troy for over 30 years. In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by his children Pierette (Danny) Ashcroft Abeel and John “Jay” Ashcroft Jr., his granddaughter Sabrina Ashcroft and great granddaughter Natalie Myers as well as his siblings Barbara Lampariello, Gary (Bonnie) Ashcroft, Judy (Greg) Rock, Cheryl Redlark, Vincent (Larisa) Daniele and many nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his Son, Thomas Ashcroft Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday May 8 from 4:00-7:00 at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd.

, Latham Memorial services for John will be celebrated on Wednesday May 9 at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville with Fr. James Walsh officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in John’s memory to the Philanthropy Dept.
