Johnny’s Obituary Johnny Marshall was born August 14, 1951 to the union of Estella and Jessie Marshall, Jr. in Benoit, MS. Johnny graduated from Greenville High School on May 31, 1972. He later attended Alcorn State University and obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Education.

While attending Alcorn State University, Johnny met the love of his life, Diana. To this union, one child was born, Kimberly. Johnny had a love for tennis and racketball.

Throughout his life Johnny was employed at Barid, Lowes, and McCoy but was employed by Platte Chemical Co. when his health declined. Johnny departed his life on January 12, 2019 at Delta Regional Medical Center.
