Mr. Johnny Wayne Wilkerson, 57, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Wilkerson was born November 27, 1960 in Swainsboro, Ga. to the late John Dan Wilkerson and Mary Loucille Hall Wilkerson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jane Bedgood and Norma Roberson; brother, Donny Wilkerson. Mr. Wilkerson was a loving and devoted husband, father, pa and friend, always put others first. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandbabies grow up.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wilkerson of Swainsboro; daughters, Tabitha Wilkerson and Joni Hall (Henry) both of Swainsboro; son, Chris Wilkerson (Brandy) of Warner Robins; brother, Danny Wilkerson (Ellen) of Twin City; sisters, Carolyn Odom (Jerry) of Swainsboro, Shirley Henry (Larry) of Soperton, Patricia Mason (Wayne) of Swainsboro and Jackie King (Wesley) of Norristown; grandchildren, Jaylin Hall, Henzli Hall and Cole Wilkerson; special niece, Cassie Walters; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Swainsboro Jaycee Fairgrounds on Saturday September 22 at 11:00 a.m. All friends and family are invited. His dream was to take his grandkids to Disney World one day.
