Survivors include his children, Issac Muniz of Kingsville, Lisa Cortez of Kingsville, JoAnna Muniz of Kingsville, JoLinda (David Jr.) Calderon of Kingsville, Iris Herrera of Annaville, Fabian Lerma of Kingsville, Yvette Lerma of Kingsville, Lamar Lerma of Kingsville, Regina (Rene) Baez of Kingsville, and Jessica Gonzales of Kingsville; one sister, Lupita Cruz of Taft; and one brother, Enrique Vela Jr. of La Mesa.

Visitation will be held on Fri. , 02-01-2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Religious Service will be held on Fri.
