Jose Daniel Bernal Quezadas, 8 years old, a resident of the Cornelius community, died Wednesday evening, October 31, 2018 at the Doernbecher’s Oregon Health Sciences University Medical Center in Portland. JOSE DANIEL BERNAL QUEZADAS was born January 29, 2010 in Morelia, Mexico, the son of Oriale Bernal Hernandez and Clara Quezadas. At the age of four years old, he moved with his family to California, settling in the Azusa community.

At the age of six years old, Jose moved with his family to Oregon, settling in the Cornelius community. He was currently attending the Joseph Gale Elementary School in Forest Grove. He was an active member of the St. Alexander Parish in Cornelius.

Among his special interests, he enjoyed playing soccer and playing his tabloid. Jose was preceded in death by his grandparents, Simon Bernal Garcia and Erlinda Henrnandez. Survivors include his parents, Oriale Bernal Hernandez and Clara Quezadas, of the family home in Cornelius, Oregon and his grandparents, Maria G. Castaneda and Jose Quezadas, of Mexico.
