85, of Narragansett passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Mahoney) Costello. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph E. Costello, Sr., and M Florence (Green) Costello.

Joseph is survived by his sister Joan Devlin of Coventry and his dear friend Geisla Burns of Wakefield. Mr. Costello was a supervisor of vocational rehabilitation for the State of RI for 35 years until his retirement; he also enjoyed model building. Joseph was a US army veteran serving during the Korean War.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Home Service on Monday, October 15th, at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A. ), Narragansett.

Burial with military honors will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
