Joseph Niemczura, Jr., 64 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, for Joseph Niemczura, Jr., 64, who passed away Sunday evening. Joseph was born July 16, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of Joseph and Nancy Jean Grinstead Niemczura. He was a 1971 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and also attended Youngstown State University.

He was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a driver for the Fish Samaritan House in Youngstown. Joseph was of the Presbyterian faith and was a long-time parishioner of Gibson Heights Second U.P Church of Youngstown.

He was a member of SNPJ Lodge 643 of Girard. He was very proud of his sons and his grandchildren. Joseph loved to hunt and fish, and always enjoyed playing Santa Claus for a number of organizations over the years.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his son, Brady Niemczura (Sophia DeRobbio) of Boardman; his mother, Nancy Niemczura of North Lima; his brothers, John (Patricia) Niemczura of Hudson and Jim Niemczura of Cornersburg; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; and his son, Jason Aaron Niemczura. The Niemczura family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Wednesday from 4-6:00 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 10-11:00 a.m., prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service.
