Obituary for Joseph Rochester Print Rayne- Funeral Services will be held for Joseph Rochester, 74, at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Abundant of Life Church in Rayne, LA with Pastor Louis P. Currie, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held in the Duhon Funeral Home- Rayne Chapel on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 8:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Interment will be at a later date.

Mr. Rochester was called home on February 5, 2019 at 9:14 AM at his home in Rayne, LA. He departed this life and went on to do his heavenly duties with his heavenly Father. Joseph Rochester was a lifelong member of Maryland Chapel in Branch, LA.

He then married then married his wife, the late Iva Mae Belle “Mrs. Black” and made union of four boys. Joseph Rochester was a hard worker at White Anderson Company where he retired. Joseph was a committed worker and well respected.

He was the neighborhood “bike man “and was a man of many talents and was always willing to help others. He leaves to cherish his memories; his oldest son, Joseph Bell (Lolo) of Rayne, LA, sons, Curtis Bell (Tuffy) and his wife, Nancy of Jennings, LA, Joseph Rochester Bell (Elmo) of Rayne, LA, Lewis Bell (Foster) and his wife Pam of Rayne, LA; three sisters, Helena Mouton, Ezora Charles and Bertha Rochester all of Rayne, LA; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Valsin Rochester.

Sr and Delia Minnix Rochester; his wife, Iva Mae “Mrs. Black” Bell ; brothers, Valsin Rochester, Jr. (Monk), Curtis Rochester (Uncle Curtis) and one sister, Shirley Cook.
