Obituary for Joseph Stephens Joseph “Joe” Stephens, 62, of Springfield passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in his home with his family at his side. He was born December 17, 1955 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Beatrice Clark of Middleport and the late Wendell Stephens. Joe enjoyed taking hikes along the Appalachian Trail, going fishing and just being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Stephens, a daughter, Heather Bachand (William Eagle) of Dayton, a half-son, Robert “Bobby” Bachand (Iva Barnett) of Enon, Five gandchildren Kirsten, Madalynn, Stormie, Alissa and Damien. Three grand dogs, Taco , Thor and Spring. Two brothers, Robert Douglas Dick, Larry Chad Dick, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Patricia Perry. A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 Wednesday, May 27, 2018 in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Joseph Stephens please visit our Sympathy Store.
