Obituary for Thomas Walter Linn Thomas Walter Linn, 74, of Springfield passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Springfield. He was born August 21, 1943 in Springfield to the late Thomas and Myrtle Linn. Thomas was a proud Navy Veteran and was retired from Cascade Corporation.

He is survived by his daughter, Dana and Terry Koster of Springfield, a son, Thomas C. Linn of Springfield, two sisters, Fran Cockfield and Barbara Pickering, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 54 years, Sue Linn. Tom was best known for his warm smile, loving nature and kindness towards others.

Tom enjoyed fishing, watching any type of sporting event, spending time with family and friends and had a sincere love for the ocean. Tom was proud to have served in the Navy and enjoyed sharing stories about his different adventures at sea. The family would like to thank Tom’s friends for more than 50 years, Roger and Mary Pierce for always being by his side and helping in any way possible.

Funeral services with military honors will be conducted 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Adkins Funeral Home, Enon. Visitation will be held on hour prior to the service in the funeral home. www.
