OBITUARY Joseph W. Peary January 19, 1927 – November 13, 2018 Joseph William Peary, 91 of New Bern passed away November 13, 2018. Bill was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a United States Navy veteran of WWII having served on the USS Dolphin. Bill was a graduate of Harvard University where he received a degree in accounting and mathematics.

He also was a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Masters of Business Administration. He was predeceased by his wife Regina Peary. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Salter and son-in law, William; grandchildren, Tracy Frank (Scott), Kathryn Landry (Ryan), Matthew Salter, Bethany Ann Salter, Gentry Salter (Tiffany) and great grandchildren, Asher Frank, Holly Frank, Clara Frank, Piper Landry and Nolan Landry.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1pm on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Old St. Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
