Obituary for Josephine A. Gabryszak Josephine A. Gabryszak December 22, 1938-November 3, 2018 Josephine A. Gabryszak, 79, of La Porte, Indiana , passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at her home in La Porte, Indiana. She was born December 22, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond Majewski and Catherine (Kondracki) Majewski. Josephine was a member of St. John Kanty Catholic Church, Gleaners, PNA, and the Rolling Prairie Community Center.
She really enjoyed gardening, reading, crochet and embroidery. In her younger years she loved ballroom dancing in Chicago and roller skating. On March 2, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, she married Jerome Gabryszak Sr. who preceded in death June 3, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter, Joann Gabryszak of La Porte, IN; two sons, Jerome (Laura) Gabryszak Jr. of Valparaiso, IN, John (Brenda) Gabryszak of Valparaiso, IN; two grandchildren, Katelyn, Kelly. Josephine was preceded in death by both her parents, husband, and her son, James Gabryszak. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave.
, La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, November 9, 2018, 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John Kanty Catholic Church, 6988 N. 600 E., Rolling Prairie, Indiana 46371, Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Michael Heimer officiating. Interment will follow at the St. John Kanty Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Indiana.
