OBITUARY Josephine “Jo” Lodestro September 14, 1922 – August 31, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Our beloved Aunt Jo passed away August 31, 2018, due to complications form a recent fall, just shy of her 96th birthday. She was fortunate enough to have retained her mind and mobility until the end. Jo attended Christ the King Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.

She retired from Delta Airlines after 32 years of service. Jo loved to travel and visited five continents. She lived for a time in Venezuela and on Guam.

She was a very smart lady; adventurous, fun, and a much loved family member. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Rose Lodestro; brother, Tony Lodestro; and sister, Kay Clark. Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephew; Sandra Jean Lodestro, Anthony Lodestro and wife Renee, Janet Hopson and husband Bill, and Carol Ann Scarbrough and husband Jim.

A private family Rosary will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home followed by visitation with friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 425 McCormick St., Bossier City, LA with Father Mark Watson and Father Rigoberto Betaneurt officiating. Entombment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. If you were lucky enough to have Jo Lodestro as your friend – you had the best.
