Josephine Rose Foster, 84 of Zanesville passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Willow Haven Nursing Home. She was born April 18, 1934 in Corning to the late Joseph and Anna Vozar Matis. Josephine was employed at United Technologies and a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are four sisters: Emma Graves, Charlotte (Charles) Simpson, Vernie F. Webb and Anna (Jim) Wilson; several nieces and nephews and a brother in law Pat Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Foster; a brother Charles”Mac” Matis and three sisters: Teresa Tracey, Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Matis. Calling hours will be 11 to 1PM Wednesday, January 16 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.

Funeral services will begin at 1PM with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Portersville. To send a note of condolence to the family visit www.
