Obituary of Josephine Pecorino Mrs. Josephine Pecorino, age 94, of Gloversville, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at Albany Medical Center. She was born September 4, 1924 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Vincent and Genevieve Argento Nicosia. She attended Gloversville schools and was later active with the Gloversville Senior Center.

She loved spending time with her large extended family. Josephine is survived by six children, Pamela Molden (Walter), Rosemary Soriero (Anthony), Tony Pecorino, Jr. (Rebecca), Michael Pecorino, Joanne Davis (Robert) and Paul Pecorino; ten grandchildren, Amy, Aaron, Lia, Matthew, Anthony III, Benjamin, Chloe, Andrew, Richard and Brittany; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Nicosia (Elaine) and Paul Nicosia; a sister, Suzanne Buanno (Henry); as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Tony Pecorino; a grandson, Joshua Davis; and ten siblings, Carmen, Sam, Peter, Tony, Joseph and John Nicosia, Mary Mascardi, Madeline Meinecke, Crucificia Nicosia and Frances Carr.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Thursday, February 7 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 151 S. Main St; Gloversville, with the Rev. Donald Czelusniak officiating.

Interment will take place in the spring at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Senior Citizen Service Center of Gloversville and Fulton County.
