Obituary for Joyce Eileen Egerer (Prather) Joyce E. Egerer Age 82 of Howell passed away on December 13, 2018. She was born on June 20, 1936 in Detroit, MI a daughter of Earl and Agnes (Mesanko) Prather. On February 28, 1970 she married Don Egerer in Dearborn, MI and residing in Warren, MI for 33 years before moving to Brighton in 2002.
He preceded her in death on February 26, 2018. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she had been employed by Fisher Body. Joyce enjoyed reading romance novels and traveling back and forth to Solona Beach and SanDiego, California for 20 years.
Known as a friend to all and especially a loving grandmother. She is survived by her children: Mark Egerer, Theresa (Ed) Ozanik, Shelley Egerer, and Kurt Egerer; grandchildren: Jessica Egerer, Angela Smith, Becky Smith and Amanda (Ronnie) Mann; great grandchildren: Madison Smith, Anthony Santana, Jenelle Dykstra, Shyla Dykstra, Antonaio Mann, Angello Mann, Valentina Mann and Gianna Mann. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Mary Magdalen Parish at 11:00 A.M. celebrated by Rev.
Fr. David F. Howell. Friends may visit beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow on Tuesday at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
