Joyce Leathers, 84, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. A native of Frankfort, she was born on September 24, 1933 to the late Hurtle and Evelyn Gatewood Leathers. She retired from the Kentucky Department of Education after 45 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Leathers, Frankfort; her sister, Helen Leathers Burchfield, Waddy; special nieces Cheri Bentley, and Christy Boone; special nephew, Todd Burchfield; as well as several other nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
