Obituary for Melissa Sue Rose Funeral services for Melissa Sue Rose, 35, of Frankfort, will be Thursday 1 p.m. at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rick Reams and Justin Kurtz will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rose died Sunday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was a mother and homemaker who loved spending time with her family. Melissa was an avid bingo player and enjoyed family cookouts.
She attended Capital Vineyard Church in Frankfort. She is preceded in death by her step-father, Jesse Ray Cox; grandfather, John Shuck Sr.; and grandmother, Anne Hatchell. Survivors include her husband, Michael Lance Rose; children, Clarissa Mae Hill, Jeffrey Dallas Wang III, and Jace Michael Rose; mother, Jeannie Cox; father, Theodore Mason (Margaret) Hill Jr.; grandmother, Ruby Shuck; grandfather, Theodore Mason Hill Sr.; mothers-in-law, Kimberly Armstrong Griffith and Diane Rose; fathers-in-law, Mike Rose and Max Quire; aunts, Leigh Stewart, Corarine Wright, Pamela Johnson, Helen Owens, Alice Edwards, and Mae Gibson; uncles, John Shuck Jr., Paul Edwards, and Darren Stewart, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Etta Broughton, Brittany Federice, Natasha Aquino, Chance Rogers, Jason Palmer, and T.J. Green.
