Obituary for Jennie Hansel Jennie L. Hansel, 64, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018. Wife to the late Jack Hansel and Bobby Wilson, Jennie was born October 17, 1953 to the late Robert George and Mary “Rosie” Douglas Cole in Lexington, Kentucky. She loved to be around people, especially family.

Jennie made sure her kitchen table stayed occupied, with family meals, card games, Yatzee, or jars of canned goods resting just out of the caner. As long as she was home, caring for those she loved, she was happy. Jennie is survived by her children, Eva (Dennis) Allen, Lexington, George (Wilma) Wilson, Harrodsburg, Bobby (Robert) March, IL, and Jackie Hansel, Versailles; sisters, Wilma (Gene) Hall, Richmond, Wanda (Bubby) Courtney, Georgetown, Kathy (Johnny) Covington, Jeffersonville, and Lisa Nelson, Harrodsburg; brothers, Tommy (Gloria) Cole, Georgetown, Franklin Cole, Lexington, Sherman (Marie) Cole, Versailles, Leroy (Tina) Cole, Lexington, Willard (Christy) Cole, Lexington, and Ricky Cole, Lexington; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and one on the way.

In addition to her parents and late husbands, Jack Hansel and Bobby Wilson, Jennie was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Bruner, Eva Cummins, William Cole, Ailene Cole, and Weeks Lynn Cole.
