Obituary for Jeff Shaw Frankfort – Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Shaw, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, surrounded by his wife and two sons. Services for Jeff will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Todd Lester officiating, assisted by Rev.
Terry Lester. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018.
Jeff was born on September 15, 1957, to Don and Gail Shaw. He was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and retired from the Kentucky Public Service Commission after 30 years of service. He was a loving husband and father, and our hearts ache with his passing.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Terri Shaw; sons, Jared and Tyler Shaw; brother, David Shaw (Sue); sister, Mary Jo Hazel (Nick); mother-in-law, Carol Coburn; brother-in-law, Kevin Coburn; and sisters-in-law, Gail and Dee Dee Coburn. He was also blessed with four nieces and three nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Coburn, Alan Tyson, Donnie Tyson, Gary Forman, Bob Shaw, and Daryl Newby.
Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
