Juanita Ann (Stuewe) Davis, 94, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away May 22, 2018. On Valentine’s Day in 1924, she was born in Alma, Kansas to Lillie Emma (Eck) and Rudolph Emil Stuewe. Nita attended nursing school at Stormont School of Nursing in Topeka and became a registered nurse.

Later, she served as a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City for ten years. During her volunteer years, she enjoyed delivering mail, flowers, and good cheer to the many patients she served. While in nursing school, she met Loren H. Davis and they married on December 20, 1945.

Together they built their life and family for 63 years while Loren worked at TWA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loren H. Davis; son, James P. Davis; and three sisters, Alberta, Nyla, and Virginia. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay Davis, two granddaughters, Madeline Davis and Natalie Minklei, and 12 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 11 AM until time of Service at 12 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home’s Lakeside Chapel; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
