Judith A. Gard, 74, of Cory, Indiana passed away at home, with her family by her side, June 1, 2018 following a brief illness. Judy was born on July 8, 1943, in Clay County, Indiana the daughter of Marie Crafton. Judy’s mom passed away when Judy was very young.

She was raised by her grandparents Vinnie and Terrie Crafton. Judy graduated from Bowling Green High School. Shortly after high school she married Gerald Gard.

She enjoyed yardsaling, watching old movies, gardening, cooking, trading recipes and playing cards – especially euchre. She is survived by her children: Cindy Gard Anderson, Carol Fritz and husband Jeff, and Chad Gard and wife Kim; grandchildren: Sheena Strain, Joshua Strain (Kenzi), Kacie Nicoson (Andrew), Darcie Fritz (fiancé Shan Antony), Bradie Fritz, Wyatt Gard (Victoria Burk), and Tori Gard; greatgrandchildren: Parker Gaddis, Zyler Williams, Kasyn Strain, Jaxton Strain, Kylie Nicoson, and Gracyn Nicoson; her beloved Maltese companion Buddy as well as many extended family members. Graveside services will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, in Clay City, on June 5, 2018 at 10:00am with Pastor Pat Shay officiating.
