Born to Life on July 2, 1939 in Randolph, Wisconsin, the daughter and one of thirteen children of the late Joseph and the late Genevieve (nee Van de Loop) Stelzer, Judy was Born to Eternal Life surrounded by her loving and devoted family on November 16, 2018, at Elizabeth Residence in Bayside, Wisconsin, at the age of 79 years. She was the beloved wife of Rhody Hoerter and the cherished mother of Gerard (Jennifer) Hoerter, Gregory (Lori) Hoerter, Gary (Margaret) Hoerter and Shelly (Arnis) Vecitis. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Judy worked for many years as an administrative assistant at US Bank. She was active in her children and grandchildren’s lives and she lived her faith by being involved in different groups at her church. Visitation will be held for Judy on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, from 9:30am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, all at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7600 North Port Washington Road, Fox Point, Wisconsin 53217.

Interment will follow the church service at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon, Wisconsin. “May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
