Obituary for Glenna Rae Davis Luca Glenna Rae Luca, 93, of Lyman, SC, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 14, 1925, in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was the youngest daughter of the late Joseph R. and Lulu W. Davis and wife of the late of Joseph Mario Luca. Glenna worked as a secretary for various businesses finally landing at Spartan Mills and eventually becoming their first Credit Union manager.

Glenna also had a successful monogram business which she ran for many years. She was a proud, active member of the Altrusa Club of Spartanburg since 1969, serving at both local and district levels. Glenna is survived by her son, Matt Luca (Carol) of Landrum, SC; daughter, Tina Luca (Brenda) of Lyman, SC; grandson, Matt Luca II (Ellen) of St. Louis, MO; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends to celebrate Glenna’s life will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. There will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Altrusa Birthday Bunch Scholarship Fund c/o The Spartanburg County Foundation, 424 East Kennedy Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
