Obituary for JULIA ANN ALLEN ALLEN, Julia Ann (nee Watkins), age 90, our Mamma, departed from her earthly home Tuesday evening, October 30, 2018 at her daughter’s home to her final destination – Heaven! ! !

She was born April 11, 1928 in Lee County, Kentucky and moved to Middletown at the age of 19. She was employed as a nurse’s aide at Garden Manor for 19 years, retiring in 1993. Julia was a member of the Temple Baptist Church of Carlisle.

She enjoyed traveling with her family. Preceding her in death was her father, Isaac Watkins; her mother, Maggie Ellen (nee Caudill) Watkins Trent; her husband Robert B. Allen in 1964; daughter Donna Gayle (Allen) Davis; grandson, Todd Davis; five sisters, Jean, Carrie, Elizabeth, Sue and Lena; and two brothers Chester and Isaac, Jr She leaves behind her three children, Opal (Gary) Chambers, Deborah Goforth and Robert (Debbie) Allen; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one half-sister, Mary (Robert) Madewell; two half-brothers, Carrell (Debbie) Trent and Darrell (Auda) Trent; two step-brothers, Hearl Trent and Earl Trent; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, November 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Sowards officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio.
