Julia V. “Ginger” Edwards, 79 of Rimrock, passed away on July 13, 2018 in Cottonwood. She was born on January 7, 1939 in Pittsburg, OK to George Walter Alexander and Bessie Louise Hoag. Ginger enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles, bingo and outdoor activities such as fishing and camping.

She was one of the best cooks we have ever known. Ginger was preceded in death by her grandson Shawn K. Dalhover. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Buff M. Edwards; son Buff Alex Edwards (Eddie Edwards) of Mesa; daughter Julia L. Wayment (Larry) of Mt.

Juliet, TN; brothers William Alexander (Karen) of Phoenix, Virgil Alexander (Lois) of Tempe and Hal Alexander (Debbie) of Cottonwood; her dog Honey; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
