June Arline Miller, 88, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Sunday, September 23, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side. Born January 5, 1930 in Carlisle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Anna B. (Clepper) Heberlig. June was the loving companion of Edward Frankenfield for eighteen years and the wife of the late Eugene E. Miller who passed away April 1, 1998 and with whom she shared fifty years of marriage.

June attended Hanover Wesleyan Church. She was a homemaker and worked for Cremer’s Florist in their greenhouse for ten years. June loved sewing, crocheting and family times together.

She was a gifted musician and singer and played the organ for God’s Missionary Church, the Brethren In Christ Church and the Good News Independent Church. In addition to her loving companion, Edward, June is survived by her children, Eugene E. Miller, Jr. and wife Sally of Hanover, PA, Jeffrey P. Miller and wife Shirley of East Berlin, PA, Barry L. Miller and wife Laura of Abbottstown, PA, Bradley K. Miller and wife Darlene of Hanover, PA, and Lori A. Smith and husband Timothy of Abbottstown, PA; twelve grandchildren; `seventeen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Connie Heberlig of Harrisburg, PA. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry E. Miller, who died in 1976 and a daughter, Linda J. Miller who died in 1949; and siblings, Doris Prosser, Betty Snyder, Faye Donnelly, Norma Flickinger, Paul Heberlig, Jr., Helen Mease and Ronnie Heberlig.

A service to celebrate and remember June’s life will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Jerry Beers officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in June’s name to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York, NY 10006, or to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
