June E. Masten, a lifelong resident of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Saturday, December 1, 2018. She was 87. Daughter of the late Lyman D. Sr., and Mildred (Shaw) Masten, she was born on March 25, 1931 in Newburgh.

June was a retired Manager for New York Telephone and was a member of the New York Telephone Pioneers. She was also a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. Surviviors include her cousins, William P. Adams and his wife Helen of Wallkill, Gary Adams of New Windsor and Richard C. Adams and his wife Janet of Walker Valley.

She was predeceased by a brother, Lyman Masten, Jr. in 2013. Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Visitation will take place at White, Venuto & Morrill, Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
