Newsome A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Friend Public School, in the old gymnasium with Rev. Paxaio Baptista officiating. Memorials have been established and are directed in care of the family.

Kaden Christopher Newsome was born June 25, 2006 in York, Nebraska to Crystal (Spies) and Dana Newsome and passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, due to an accidental house fire in Cordova, Nebraska at the age of 12. As a young boy, he began his education at Friend Public School and was a member of the 7th grade class. He was a member of the Friend FFA.

Kaden was a member of Boy Scout Troop #212, Crete. During the summer, he played baseball and he enjoyed Minecraft videos and games and building with Legos. He had a very creative mind with a gift for numbers and loved to read, especially the Harry Potter series of books and watched every movie, as well as Lord Of The Rings.

Kaden is survived by his step father, Robert “Vic” Vickrey, Cordova, sister, Breanna Newsome, brother, Keagan Newsome, both of Cordova, step-brother and spouse, Robert and Andrea Vickrey, Aurora, CO, step-sisters and spouses, Dawn and Jeff Munson, Milford, Alia and Anthony Vickrey-Kreider, McCool Jct, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kaden was preceded in death by his grandfather, Junior and a great-grandfather, Larry.
