Karen Kay Lancaster, 78, of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born August 29, 1940 in Davis, IL, the daughter of Glen and Morna (Davis) Kloepping. Karen married James L.R. Lancaster, and he predeceased her on September 22, 1981.

Karen enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, watching games shows, playing yahtzee, and reading. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Jim (Gena) Lancaster, Burt Lancaster, Velvette Lancaster, Claudia (Jay) Frye, and David Knight; grandchildren, Anthony Lancaster, Joshua and Jason Hermann, David, Clayton, Michael and Brandon Trumm, Misty Churchill and Daniel Lancaster; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Dennis, Vaughn, Jim, and Roger Kloepping; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Evelyn Rice.

She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Arvid and Jerry Kloepping. A memorial service for Karen will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Visitation of remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
