Priceville Funeral service for Karey Owens, 58, will be Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Owens died on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at his residence. Karey was born April 16, 1960, in Morgan County to John Franklin Owens and Betty Fuller Owens. He was a member of the Hartselle Church of Christ and was a graduate of the class of 1978 of Lawrence County High School, where he played varsity football.

He was formerly employed as a CNC Lathe Operator for Copeland Corporation. Mr. Owens was preceded in death by a daughter: Ashleigh Carrie Owens. Survivors include: One Daughter: Alex Owens Parents: John and Betty Fuller Owens One Brother: Kenneth Owens Two Sisters: Sheri Owens and Karen Owens Pallbearers will be Alberto Barrera, Justin Edmonson, Hunter Grantland, Jamie Foote, J.R. Barrera and Tim Crow.
