Katharine Henry Taylor, 96, of Russellville passed away Monday, May 7, 2018. Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 12 noon in the chapel. Don McGuire and John Henry will be officiating.

Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Srygley Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Mamie Henry; husband, Odus Odell Taylor; son, Dwight Odell Taylor; brothers, James Henry, Julian Henry, Carlos Henry, and Bob Henry; sisters, Mary Hazel Malone, Helen Dobson, and Betty Jean Wainwright.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Clemons of Russellville, AL, Betty Ann Taylor, Bonita Smelser (Russell) of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Belinda Hennigan (Greg) of Town Creek, AL; brother, John Henry of Florence, AL; sister, Margie Henry of Sheffield, AL; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Greg Hennigan, Russell Smelser, Christopher Bennett, Shane Bennett, Caleb Smelser, and Jacob Hennigan.
