Obituary for Katherine Mickler (Barkoskie) Katherine Dianne Mickler, 66 of Skidmore, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri. Katherine was born on October 14, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Edward J. Barkoskie, Sr. and Grace F. (Losco) Schilling and was raised in Palm Valley, Florida. She was a homemaker and member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild in Maryville.

Katherine married Robert A. “Tony” Mickler on October 18, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include her children, Becky (Steve) Miller, Trisha (Robert) Ellenwood and their children, Robert and Andrew; Carolyn (Alan) Coy and their children, Breanna (Cody) Walter, Sean Skipper and Tristan Coy; sister, Trisha Philo; brothers, Edward “Zeke” (Tina) Reynolds, Joe (Jayne) Barkoskie and Martin (Beth) Barkoskie.

Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday, June 14th at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Maryville. Rosary 5:30pm Wednesday, June 13th at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association. www.
